June 4th & 5th: Auction of British Empire & Foreign Countries

Featuring the exceptional Moore & Moore Collection of the King George V issues of Gibraltar, a fine offering of South West Africa postal history, the fascinating collection of Biafra formed by the late Dudley Prestedge and a further strong section of Falkland Islands & Antarctica featuring newly discovered early letters, the Clive Perkins collection of Falkland Islands Postcards, and rare items from early Swedish, Scottish and French Expeditions to the Antarctic. 

June 6th: The John Dahl Collection of Portuguese Revenues

The superlative collection of the Revenues of Portugal and its Colonies formed by John R.G. Dahl, FRPSL. This auction brings to the market the largest and most comprehensive specialised collection of revenues since the Thill collection sold by Robson Lowe in the 1970s. The collection has won multiple prizes including three Large Gold medals awarded at London 2000, Madrid 2000 and Belgium 2001 for its exhibit of the ‘Revenues of the Kingdom of Portugal 1862–1910’. It has been described as “fifty years of collecting the best”.

June 6th: The Apollonia Collection: Brunei, Labuan, North Borneo and Sarawak
