It is with great sadness that we must announce that David Boyd passed away on June 10th, peacefully after a long illness.
David was a well-known and highly respected figure in the stamp world. He was a great friend and source of expert advice to many collectors as well as a personal mentor to many of us in the Grosvenor family. He will be greatly missed.
The two-day Specialised Great Britain auction held at Grosvenor on April 20th-21st showed that the GB market remains fundamentally strong and well supported. Driven strongly by internet bidding the sale achieved a very pleasing £882,324 total.

The British Empire & Foreign Countries auction held at Grosvenor on March 1st-2nd romped far beyond its pre-sale estimate to reach a final total of £824,664.
