The British Empire & Foreign Countries auction held at Grosvenor on October 4th/5th was a festive celebration of stamps and covers from around the world. The final sale total of £759,925 greatly exceeded the pre-sale estimate.

As London sweltered and sweated in the early summer heatwave, prices were also simmering nicely in the Grosvenor saleroom during the two day British Empire & Foreign Countries auction held on June 15th/16th. What we learned . .

The two-day Specialised Great Britain auction held at Grosvenor on April 20th-21st showed that the GB market remains fundamentally strong and well supported. Driven strongly by internet bidding the sale achieved a very pleasing £882,324 total.
