As London sweltered and sweated in the early summer heatwave, prices were also simmering nicely in the Grosvenor saleroom during the two day British Empire & Foreign Countries auction held on June 15^th/16^th. It is with great sadness that we must announce that David Boyd passed away on June 10th, peacefully after a long illness.

What we learned . .

The two-day Specialised Great Britain auction held at Grosvenor on April 20^th-21^st showed that the GB market remains fundamentally strong and well supported. Driven strongly by internet bidding the sale achieved a very pleasing £882,324 total.
